Surrogacy
in Kyrgyzstan

A surrogacy arrangement involves more than an IVF cycle. Start by identifying the clinical pathway, the people and organisations responsible, and the legal and document route for your actual circumstances.

How the arrangement works

  1. Define the arrangement

Distinguish own eggs, donor eggs and existing embryos. Identify the people who intend to become parents and obtain separate medical and legal assessments before relying on a package or a provider’s welcome message.

  2. Identify the providers and agreements

The IVF clinic, coordinator, donor-material service, pregnancy-care team, maternity hospital and legal adviser may be separate. Record who performs each task, holds records, receives payment and remains responsible if another organisation changes.

  3. Agree the clinical and care plan

Ask the treating team to explain assessment, embryo creation or receipt, any proposed testing and transfer. The clinical plan determines treatment and timing; a commercial milestone table is not a medical protocol.

  4. Plan pregnancy, birth and later documents

Define clinical communication, consent and medical decisions, support for the person carrying the pregnancy, complications and postpartum care. Separately verify birth registration, legal parenthood, nationality and the route home.

Your treatment choices

Costs and what they cover

  • Separate embryo creation or receipt from donor material, storage, testing and transfer. A received-embryo offer is not a new-retrieval programme.
  • Identify coordination, legal work, pregnancy care, compensation, delivery and neonatal costs. Ask about insurance, funding, responsibility and any caps.
  • Read cancellation, pregnancy loss, repeat treatment, carrier replacement and additional-transfer terms. “Risk cover” and “unlimited” need actual definitions and remedies.
  • Use a dated quote naming each supplier, the package version and its validity. Check embryo transport separately and clarify any differences between earlier and later offers. Clinic fee pages preserve the original versions and exclusions.
